Designed for adult improvers, this retreat offers the opportunity to train in a small, supportive environment with expert guidance, inspiring teaching, and time to reconnect with your love of dance.

Places are limited to just 8 dancers, so everyone benefits from the very close attention and expert tuition of our ballet professionals.

Join us from Friday 18th – Sunday 20th September 2026

an immersive ballet retreat in the peaceful village of Weybourne, North Norfolk

Over three carefully curated days, you’ll enjoy daily ballet training including barre, centre work, repertoire, and Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT), all taught in an encouraging and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re returning to ballet after time away or looking to deepen your practice, this retreat is designed to help you grow in confidence, strength, and artistry.

Alongside inspiring classes, there will be nourishing food, beautiful surroundings, and time to unwind by the coast.

Meet your teachers

Tara‑Brigitte Bhavnani

We are delighted to welcome back Tara-Brigitte Bhavnani, who danced with The Royal Ballet for over 20 years before becoming a Guest Character Artist in 2023.

Having trained at both the Paris Opera Ballet School and Canada’s National Ballet School, Tara-Brigitte has performed an extraordinary repertoire and received numerous prestigious awards, including the Erik Bruhn Memorial Award and the Peter Dwyer Scholarship for Excellence in Dance. A fully qualified ballet teacher with a teaching diploma from the Royal Ballet School, she combines decades of elite professional experience with a warm, encouraging teaching style that adult dancers deeply value.

From iconic roles in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and The Sleeping Beauty to her current work teaching adult ballet enthusiasts through the acclaimed Royal Ballet Dance Days at the Royal Opera House, Tara-Brigitte brings exceptional depth of knowledge, artistry, and inspiration to the retreat. Throughout the weekend, she will guide dancers through technique, musicality, artistry, and repertoire in an intimate small-group setting designed for focused learning and personal development.

Hannah Collier

We are also thrilled to be joined by Hannah Collier, a certified Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor, ballet teacher, and chartered physiotherapist. Hannah works both within the NHS and privately, specialising in dancer health, rehabilitation, and strength training, alongside running her own adult ballet fitness classes.

Currently completing her APPI Pilates training, Hannah is passionate about helping dancers build strength, stability, and confidence through informed, supportive movement practice. During the retreat, she will lead energising morning PBT sessions as well as a restorative stretch and relaxation class designed to support recovery and wellbeing throughout the weekend.
