Created for committed adult improvers, this retreat combines exceptional teaching with a warm, supportive atmosphere. Over three inspiring days you'll deepen your technique, build confidence, reconnect with your love of ballet, and enjoy the company of like-minded dancers.

2 Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) classes
5 hours of ballet training each day
Daily ballet barre, centre, and repertoire sessions

Tara-Brigitte Bhavnani
We are delighted to welcome back Tara-Brigitte Bhavnani, who danced with The Royal Ballet for over 20 years before becoming a Guest Character Artist in 2023.Having trained at both the Paris Opera Ballet School and Canada’s National Ballet School, Tara-Brigitte has performed an extraordinary repertoire and received numerous prestigious awards, including the Erik Bruhn Memorial Award and the Peter Dwyer Scholarship for Excellence in Dance. A fully qualified ballet teacher with a teaching diploma from the Royal Ballet School, she combines decades of elite professional experience with a warm, encouraging teaching style that adult dancers deeply value.From iconic roles in Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty, to her current work teaching adult ballet enthusiasts through the acclaimed Royal Ballet Dance Days at the Royal Opera House, Tara-Brigitte brings exceptional depth of knowledge, artistry, and inspiration to the retreat. Throughout the weekend, Tara will lead the main ballet sessions, including barre, centre practice, and repertoire work. She will guide dancers through technique, musicality, artistry, and repertoire in an intimate small-group setting designed for focused learning and personal development.
Hannah Collier
We are also thrilled to be joined by Hannah Collier, a certified Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor, ballet teacher, and chartered physiotherapist. Hannah works both within the NHS and privately, specialising in dancer health, rehabilitation, and strength training, alongside running her own adult ballet fitness classes.
Currently completing her APPI Pilates training, Hannah is passionate about helping dancers build strength, stability, and confidence through informed, supportive movement practice. Hannah will lead a PBT class, designed to activate and strengthen the body while improving alignment and ballet-specific conditioning. She will also guide a restorative deep stretch session on Sunday afternoon, helping dancers unwind, release tension, and support recovery after the weekend’s training.RETREAT LEVEL
Improver level | 2+ years of ballet experience
This retreat is ideal for dancers who are comfortable with the fundamentals of ballet technique and enjoy learning longer combinations and choreography.
You'll focus on:
Refining technique and placement
Improving coordination and transitions between steps
Developing musicality and expressive movement
Building strength and stability
Exploring artistry in centre and repertoire work
Growing confidence
The atmosphere is supportive, non-competitive, and encouraging - allowing every dancer to progress at their own pace.

The Old Stables, Weybourne
Nestled on the North Norfolk coast, The Old Stables offers the perfect setting to immerse yourself in ballet.
Surrounded by countryside and just moments from the sea, it's peaceful, welcoming and beautifully designed for a weekend of movement and restoration.
Easily accessible by car, or by train from London Liverpool Street to Sheringham via Norwich.

Booking Details
£620 per person
A non-refundable £50 deposit is required to secure your place. This amount will be deducted from the final balance.
Due to the intimate nature of the retreat and limited availability, early booking is strongly recommended.
