We will be hosting a spectacular ballet weekend at The Old Stables, in Weybourne, North Norfolk. Over the course of 2 days you will be taught by the incredibly talented Barry Drummond, who trained at the Royal Ballet Upper School before dancing with the English National Ballet for ten years.
Our exclusive ballet retreats have no more than 8 participants, which means that everyone benefits from the very close attention and expert tuition of our expert ballet professionals.
This retreat is suitable for Improvers (with 2 + years of ballet experience)

The retreat includes two lunches and one dinner on Saturday evening. A delicious vegetarian lunch will be served in the beautiful dining room at the Old Stables, adjacent to the studios.
Saturday night dinner details are TBC.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the weekend.
The Venue
The retreat will take place at the Old Stables in Webourne, a pretty village in North Norfolk. You will be surrounded by spectacular views of the countryside, helping you to focus and clear your head. Easily reachable, the studio can be accessed by car or train from London Liverpool Street to Sheringham, via Norwich.
The format
Each day will begin in the studio at 10am with a ballet warm-up, followed by a class taught by the wonderful Barry Drummond.
We will take a break for a nutritious, freshly prepared vegetarian lunch, followed by the afternoon session.

Accommodation is not included but should you need accommodation, please ask for recommendations.

MEET THE PROFESSIONALS
your teacher: Barry Drummond
Barry trained at the Royal Ballet Upper School before dancing with the English National Ballet for ten years. During his time there he performed notable works by Akram Khan, Pina Bausch and John Neumeier as well as principal and soloist roles in ballets by Kenneth MacMillan, William Forsythe and Christopher Wheeldon.
Barry then went on to pursue a career in Musical Theatre and has appeared in the West End productions of My Fair Lady, Kiss Me, Kate and the 80th Anniversary Rodgers and Hammerstein concert and the international tour of Singin' In The Rain. He is currently in the world tour cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
When he is not performing, Barry works as an exercise rehabilitator and movement therapist. He is trained in Clinical Pilates, Functional Range Conditioning, Strength and Conditioning and Yoga, so his bodywork practice spans a broad range of disciplines.
