Discover the joy of learning ballet

There is something wonderful about discovering what your body can do through ballet - building confidence, understanding the technique and experiencing the pleasure of moving to music.

Join Isabelle Brouwers for a welcoming weekend created especially for Beginner Plus adult ballet dancers.

Whether you’ve been taking classes for a little while or are returning to ballet after a break, this weekend offers the opportunity to develop your technique, build confidence and enjoy dancing in a relaxed and supportive environment.

confidence through technique

Throughout the weekend, Isabelle will guide you through carefully structured classical ballet classes, focusing on the foundations of good technique, including posture, placement, coordination, musicality and port de bras.

We’ll explore how the steps fit together, develop greater confidence in moving across the floor and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing our dancing improve.

Each day will also include a Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) session, helping to develop body awareness, stability and strength to support your ballet technique.

There will be time to practise, ask questions and work on the details that can make such a difference to your dancing.

WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?

Designed for Beginner Plus adult ballet dancers who have some experience of ballet and are familiar with basic steps and terminology, but would like to strengthen their foundations and develop greater confidence.

You don’t need to be able to remember complicated combinations or have perfect technique. The weekend is about learning at your own pace, asking questions and enjoying the process of improving.
